Makeup should feel enjoyable, not overwhelming. My personal makeup lessons are designed for women at every stage — whether you’re completely new to makeup or simply want to refine your technique and feel more confident with what you already have.
These relaxed, one-to-one sessions take place in my beauty room in Herne Bay, Kent and are completely tailored to you. There’s no pressure, no “right” way to wear makeup — just practical guidance, clear explanations and support to help you feel comfortable and confident.

Perfect if you’re doing your own makeup for a wedding or special occasion. This session focuses on creating a long-lasting, polished look that photographs beautifully, with techniques tailored to you.

Teen Makeup Lesson
Teen Makeup Lesson — £80
A gentle introduction to makeup for teens, focusing on skin care, light makeup and confidence. This lesson is about learning good habits, understanding products and enjoying makeup in a healthy, age-appropriate way.

totally got how important makeup is to bolster confidence.
I booked a teenage makeup session for my daughter. She had been wearing makeup for several years but felt dissatisfied with her makeup not lasting the day and not looking matte enough. She also wanted some tips on how to improve her eye makeup technique. I didn’t want her to feel pressured or rushed at a high street counter.
I feel we got 100% value. Lucy was calm, really listened to my daughter’s needs and totally got how important makeup is to bolster confidence. She explained thoroughly the makeup ingredients and how they work with your skin. Touched on colour theory to find shades that complemented skin tone and eye colour. And most importantly, didn’t rush my daughter, she had time to experiment with the different brushes and products.
My daughter chose an eye makeup look from a page Lucy had prepared, and they recreated it together. It has been great for my daughter to get all the tips and tricks, she is happy that her makeup now lasts all day, even in this heat and PE lessons, and received many compliments from her friends!
