I had met Bella on a few occasions before her wedding when she was a bridesmaid for friends, and it was such a lovely full-circle moment when she chose me to be her bridal makeup artist. By the time she became the bride herself, it was a complete no-brainer for her — and that trust meant the world to me.
A Calm, Natural Bridal Makeup Experience
Bella’s bridal makeup was all about enhancing her natural features and complementing her elegant, timeless style. We opted for a soft, fresh look with glowing skin, gentle definition around the eyes and a beautifully natural finish — a look that felt completely like her, just the very best version.
August weddings are always a joy to work on, and the warm summer light at her home in Edenbridge made the whole morning feel even more special. My aim is always to create makeup that photographs beautifully, lasts comfortably throughout the day, and still feels light and wearable from morning preparations through to the evening celebrations.
Bella’s bridesmaids each had their own individual styles and preferences, and I loved creating looks that suited each of them while still feeling cohesive as a bridal party. I was also assisted on the morning by the lovely Roseanna, which helped ensure everything ran smoothly and on time, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and unhurried.
